Ms Wigham’s Year 10 art students enjoyed a lesson in the summer sunshine, working on their excellent clay sculptures of Frankenstein’s monster.
They hand-worked the clay to make it soft, so it could be moulded into interesting shapes. Scalpels and other tools were used for carving and neatening.
Year 10 used these techniques to make asymmetrical faces with exaggerated features. They’ve created some seriously scary sculptures
