Learning Coach (Mathematics)

We're looking for the best education specialists to join our team and we have a vacancy for a Learning Coach (Mathematics) to start in September 2017.

Studio West is a Studio School situated in West Newcastle. We are a small school sponsored by Kenton School’s Academy Trust. Our philosophy is: “Learning that Connects” and we are committed to connecting the world of work to learning in the classroom.

We are ideally situated to make the most of the fantastic business opportunities that exist in the city of Newcastle and its surrounds. We opened in September 2014 and are expanding rapidly with our first year 7 intake starting in September 2017.

Studio West is seeking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual with the ability to teach Mathematics at Key Stage 3, 4 and 5. This is an excellent opportunity to deliver innovative and inspiring teaching through an exciting curriculum focused on ensuring the best learning outcomes for students. The successful candidate will be an excellent classroom practitioner with the skills, determination, and commitment and drive to ensure that our students achieve and succeed at the highest levels. We very much welcome applications from professionals who feel they can match the needs and vision of Studio West.

Much of our curriculum is delivered through project based learning, working alongside our business partners. The ability to offer a second subject will be advantageous and applications from Newly Qualified Teachers are also welcomed.
